Tear-off down to the decking so nothing soft gets covered up, then underlayment, flashing and field. Most houses are done inside a day or two, and the Texas Windstorm Certificate follows the job.

Asphalt shingle, metal, slate and TPO, residential and commercial.

A certified inspector goes up and looks at the decking and the flashing before anyone quotes anything, because repair and replacement are two different conversations and only the roof gets to decide which one you are having.

Gulf storms do not deliver rain politely. Undersized or sagging gutters push water back under the shingle edge and into the fascia, so the gutter run is treated as part of the roof, not an accessory bolted on after it.

That is what the inspection is for. A certified roof inspector assesses repair vs replacement at the property, looking at the decking, the flashing and the field of the roof, then tells you which one the roof actually needs.

A new roof installation usually completed within a day or two is the normal outcome here, depending on the size of the job.
