Before you call
How does a roof decision actually get made?
Nobody quotes a roof over the phone in Southeast Texas, and nobody should. A certified inspector comes to the property, climbs up, and looks at the decking, the flashing and the field before anyone decides between a repair and a full replacement. That inspection is free, and it is usually the same visit as the estimate.
A lot of what happens next depends on whether the damage is going through insurance. If it is a storm claim, we work hand in hand with the adjuster and, when it helps the homeowner, we are up on the roof at the same time they are, so both sides are looking at the same decking from the same ladder. If it is not a claim, it is a straight conversation about repair cost against replacement cost and how many years are left in what is already up there.
The questions below are the ones that come up on the driveway most often, on warranties, financing, timelines and the Windstorm Certificate.
